Geneaology at the Moulin Kirk

We are a small Family History Group formed nearly 6 years ago. We have grown from the 32 interested people who attended our first meeting to nearly 100 members, researching their Family Histories both locally and worldwide

A Grant from “Awards for All” allowed us to buy some much needed research equipment, together with microfilms of all the Old Parish Registers and Censuses for the North Perthshire area. A glance at our website www.npfhg.org will inform as to just how much research material we do have. We established our research room in Moulin Kirk about two years ago and since then have had visitors from home and abroad and have been able to help many of them to find their ancestors.

Apart from Ancestry  Research we have published Memorial Inscription Booklets for many of the surrounding cemeteries. Those can be bought in Moulin Kirk. There is also a transcription of an 1820 census for Moulin Parish on sale.
One of our members will be on duty at the Kirk Monday Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 12pm until 4 pm or by appointment.
